Under Idaho law, a commercial drivers license may be suspended for one year for a conviction for driving under the influence, or by refusing to take or failing a test to determine alcohol concentration while driving a motor vehicle.  A driver who was asked to submit to a test by a law enforcement officer may request a hearing within seven days of the test to challenge the validity of the test.  A good attorney can advise you of whether grounds exist to dismiss the test under the specific facts in your case. Remember that a general informational series is not a substitute for actual legal representation.

Fortunately this is a problem that few parents must deal with but it is important to know what to do if this were to happen to one of your children. Teeth may be knocked out doing a variety of activities ranging from playing in the backyard to playing sports. The most common teeth to become the victim of trauma are the upper front teeth. If it is a baby tooth that is knocked out, simply call your dentist and see them to make sure that there are no other injuries. However, if it is a permanent tooth the clock begins ticking that will significantly affectwhat happens to the tooth and whether it can be saved. If the tooth is undamaged and if you are able to, take the tooth, trying not to touch the root, rinse it off and place it back inside the socket with the “shovel side” back.  It is then important to be seen by your dentist, orthodontist, or oral and maxillofacial surgeon as soon as possible. The emergency room is another place that is equipped to help with this type of accident. If you are unable to replace the tooth then place it in a cup of milk and bring it with you so that is may be replaced. The sooner the tooth is replaced, the better chance it has of surviving.

Perhaps in many volumes Grimm Marketing Group will find few facts to use. But some one fact may be the keynote of success to a marketing campaign.  Until next time remember…Marketing Matters.

Humans can contract many parasites from dogs and cats.  The incidence of roundworm infections in humans in the U.S. is 14%!  Roundworms are acquired through chance ingestion of contaminated soil, sand, plants, or fecal contamination from pets (where does that tongue go after licking the bum?).  Roundworm eggs, once ingested, hatch into larvae that migrate through the liver, lungs, and other organs.  Sometimes, no damage occurs and no symptoms are noticed, but occasionally, the worms cause organ damage.  When this occurs in the eye, called ocular larva migrans, damage to the retina occurs, resulting in permanent blindness.  Parasites are preventable!  Ask your veterinarian about testing for parasites and what preventive medications are available for your pets.

What is the Rate of Success?

There are many different descriptions of success in treating sleep apnea.  The most important measure to the patient is the convenient elimination of symptoms and a partner that no longer complains about the snoring and stoppage of breathing. The patient is tired, but usually claims there is no problem.  The bed partner is the most observant of the effect of the sleep apnea and frequently encourages seeking treatment.  Using CPAP the measure of success has been defined as using the machine four out of seven nights for a minimum of four hours.  That calculates out to be sixteen hours of use or treatment per week.  Most people who only acquired sixteen hours of quality sleep per week would be dead tired and depressed.  Their sex drive would wilt and their memory would fade then they would get sick. For a healthy life I suggest eight hours per night seven nights per week or fifty six hours per week using an oral appliance for the snoring and sleep apnea. Get some peace and quiet to your life!  For more info call The TMJ Sleep Center concerning sleep apnea, pain, TMJ, headaches, migraines, or related subject call 234-PAIN, or drdwight@thetmjcenter.com.

There is no legal requirement that you need to consult the former attorney.  You should consider retaining an attorney experienced in providing legal representation within Wills and Estates.  Remember that a general informational series is not a substitute for actual legal representation.

Yes!  Individuals may come and go, but they leave their records and ideas behind them.  These become a part of the organization’s equipment, and a guide to all who follow.  Thus, in the course of decades, such advertising agencies become storehouses of advertising experiences, proved principles, and methods.  Until next time remember…Marketing Matters.
